Newsletter & BulletinBoard  swspm at 13:33 on Wednesday, September 03, 2003

1.) I'm sure everyone have come accross the newsletter site which allow user to receive the update whenever there is a new services, new or products in the market, so I don't have to explain much here about the newsletter. I just wanted to find out whether there really is an "automatic" system that I can develop. For example I'm able to collect user email ID, but how do I send out the newsletter every month without having someone to click the button send to send to those user registered?

2.) I'm not sure if I get the concept correctly or not, correct me if I'm wrong. Usually the bulletin borad is used to display the updates, therefore it shall display the latest news. How it flow? Is it we have to have a Update / Recent column in the Database and whenever an Administrator enter some new update it will uncheck the old record and only check the latest record?

Thanks!
