Hi,
I need to respond to the event of a nested IFrame from its parent which is also an IFrame.
Here`s a simplified example:

When clicking the red IFRAME with the alternative mouse button you`ll see a message.
What I need is to show the same message when the user clicks over the white IFRAME.

Add these 2 lines below your if1.document.close() line:
1. if1.if2.document.write(`<html><body bgcolor=white oncontextmenu="alert(` + msg + `)"></body></html>`)
2. if1.if2.document.close()

I tried to do the same, but the actual case is a more complex, my example was just a simplication.
When right clicking the red IFRAME it shows a context menu on the document, so the idea is to do the same thing in the white nested IFRAME.
So is there a way to bubble the event, so that when you right click the white nested IFRAME it calls the red parent IFRAME`s event?

Thanks!, it`s a good article, but it looks like the oncontextmenu event doesn`t bubble... anyway, I found my way by calling the function from the nested IFRAME.
Now I have a different problem:
Since the right click event takes place in the IFRAME, the X and Y coordinates i`ll have will be those of the IFRAME.
The thing is that I want to show the contextual menu in the main document... so how would I know the X and Y for the contextual menu?
