Help need - Disabling all form fields in single shot!

Dear All,

i would like to disable all my form fields(text/select/radio etc) when i click on particular button in page

i tried to put everything in div tag and disable the div but stil im able to edit the text boxes ...

any quick help on this would be great for me!!
