form under floating div is not interactive  DaveC426913 at 16:25 on Wednesday, September 05, 2007

I'm building a website that has a flash-based photo gallery on the left side that flies out when you click it. It flies out over top of the page content but when inactive it tucks away. The pages work great, even links etc. - the div with the Flash is invisible to both eyes and mouse.

Except on a page with a form. Even when the gallery is tucked away, the form fields are not clickable because of the (invisible) div over top.

I know this is the case because one of the fields is a text box - large enough to not be completely covered by the transparent div. I can click on tghe protion of the textbox that is NOT under the div, but I can't click on any part that Is under the div.

How can I have this flyout and still operate my form?
