Can someone let me know how long would it take to learn perl. I have experience on html, and asp but no idea about perl and wish to learn the language. Kindly let me know how long will it take to learn perl.

Strange question as I have only been learning for past six months and I was a complete newbie to programming!
I'd recommend SAMS TEACH YOURSELF PERL IN 24 HOURS.
Useful exercises, simple ecplanations, plus if you are a drone you could learn perl in 24 hours?!?
